Visit Indy – Spend Time in Indianapolis

Visit Indy – Spend Time in Indianapolis

February 17, 2021 Posted by Kaitlyn General, Railway Interchange

Spend Time in Indianapolis!

For Railway Interchange 2021 we will be back in Indianapolis at the Indiana Convention Center (ICC), September 26 – 29. Some of you know the city and the center well and for others this may be your first time, either way you are in for a treat!

Indianapolis nicknamed the “Crossroads of America” and famous for the largest single-day sporting event in the world (the Indy 500) the city has lots to offer its visitors. Whether you are looking to explore history, tour a museum, walk through nature, find a great meal or take in a sports game – you can do it all here.  Awarded “Best Places to Go in 2021” by Conde Nast Traveler and “Best Places to Travel in 2021” by Travel & Leisure, we encourage you to bring your family or friends and extend your stay.

As you arrive in Indianapolis you will land in the “Best Airport in North America” from 2012 – 2020 and are only a 15-minute cab ride from downtown Indy.

Railway Interchange attendees will have access to special hotel room rates at hotels connected and walking distance to the ICC. Spend a few extra days or use your free time to stroll the Central Canal, visit the one-of-a-kind museums and eat at one of the top 25 local restaurants.

Indy and its partners are taking steps every day to make meetings in Indianapolis safe for all those who visit. The ICC has implemented $7 million in health and safety since the beginning of COVID-19 and has achieved a Global Biorisk Accreditation. They continue to work with state and local health departments to comply with all safety standards and to keep attendees and meetings safe.

Join us and other industry rail professionals as we #LoveIndy and look forward to another successful Railway Interchange event! Stay tuned, as we will be opening housing and registration in April.
