Registration, Hotel Reservations Now Open for Railway Interchange 2017
Indianapolis, Ind., April 3, 2017 – Registration and hotel reservations have begun for Railway Interchange 2017 (www.railwayinterchange.org), the USA-based combined exhibition and technical conference taking place Sunday, September 17 through Wednesday, September 20 at the Indiana Convention Center. The exhibition will be held September 17-19, 2017 with technical and educational sessions taking place September 18-20, 2017.
The Railway Interchange 2017 exhibition showcases the latest technology, services, and research by members of the Railway Supply Institute (RSI), the Railway Engineering-Maintenance Suppliers Association (REMSA), and Railway Systems Suppliers, Inc. (RSSI). Railway Interchange 2017 also features technical presentations and discussions by the American Railway Engineering and Maintenance-of-Way Association (AREMA) and the Coordinated Mechanical Associations (CMA). CMA organizations include the Air Brake Association, the International Association of Railway Operating Officers, the League of Railway Industry Women, the Locomotive Maintenance Officers Association and Mechanical Association Railcar Technical Services.
With over 300,000 square feet of indoor exhibit display space, Railway Interchange 2017 is the largest combined railway exhibition and technical conference in North America, according to event organizers.
Railway Interchange 2017 follows the record-breaking 2015 event in Minneapolis, which attracted more than 9,000 attendees and featured 687 exhibitors from 42 countries. This year AREMA’s Conference Program will include 80 technical presentations over three days and a variety of educational seminars. – AREMA Executive Director and CEO Beth Caruso.
This year’s CMA technical sessions will feature updates on current rail industry issues along with the latest research. On the exhibition side, overall booth space sales are nearing 90 percent and will sell out quickly. – RSI President Tom Simpson.
